Couscous salad with sunflower seeds and sesame
Ingredients
- Couscous 10 oz
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Cilantro 1 bunch
- Lemon 1 piece
- Spanish onions 1 head
- Sunflower Seeds 0 oz
- Toasted Sesame 0 oz
- Courgette ½ piece
- Olive Oil 4 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a bowl, add the couscous and pour boiling water over it (twice the amount of couscous), cover with a lid, and let it sit for 10 minutes.
Step 2
Add chopped parsley, cilantro, finely chopped red onion, grated lemon zest, lemon juice, finely chopped cucumber, sunflower seeds, sesame seeds, and olive oil to the couscous. Season with salt and pepper, and mix everything well. Let it sit for 30 minutes before serving.
