Coffee with Milk
Beverages • European
Description
Making coffee with milk is a special process, so there are some important points to consider: 1. Unlike water, milk slightly slows down the preparation of the drink; 2. After making milk coffee, a characteristic residue remains at the bottom of the pot (especially in copper pots): this should be taken into account when choosing a cooking vessel; 3. Since milk somewhat neutralizes caffeine, it is advisable to use stronger coffee (the taste will be richer, and the aroma will be more pronounced).
Ingredients
- Ground Coffee 2 teaspoons
- Vanilla Pod 0.3 pieces
- Salt a pinch
- Milk 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the ground coffee, a pinch of salt, and the vanilla pod in the pot and warm slightly.
Step 2
Pour the milk into the pot, mix everything thoroughly, and let it cook on low heat.
Step 3
When the milk foam rises, remove the drink from the heat. After about 3 minutes, you can take out the vanilla pod and pour the coffee into a warmed cup.
