Description

This recipe was shared with us by the head chef of a popular American restaurant, Sarah Johnson.

Ingredients

  • Ground Coffee 0 oz
  • Water 5 fl oz
  • Sugar to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Take a Turkish pot and add the coffee.

Step 2

Add sugar if desired.

Step 3

Thoroughly mix all the ingredients.

Step 4

Pour in the water.

Step 5

Place the pot over medium heat.

Step 6

The coffee will gradually heat up, and a foam will start to form on top.

Step 7

As soon as this process begins, reduce the heat to low and start watching the foam carefully.

Step 8

The foam will begin to rise, trying to escape from the pot. At this moment, remove the pot from the heat and wait for the coffee to settle and the foam to subside.

Step 9

Return the pot to the heat and repeat this process 3 more times. This is necessary for the coffee to release its essential oils. It is important not to allow it to boil.

Step 10

Finally, turn off the heat.

Step 11

Rinse the coffee cups with boiling water.

Step 12

Pour the coffee into the warmed cups to preserve its aroma.

Step 13

Serve.
