Description
Recipe from a popular American barbecue restaurant.
Ingredients
- Steaks 10 oz
- Round Bun 1 piece
- Sweet Pepper 2 pieces
- Onion 1 piece
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Beer 5 fl oz
- Thyme 2 sprigs
- Cilantro 2 sprigs
- Parsley 2 sprigs
- Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
- Roquefort cheese 5 oz
- Olive Oil to taste
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat a skillet with olive oil, sprigs of thyme, and cloves of garlic — sauté the garlic briefly to infuse the oil with flavor.
Step 2
Cut the bell pepper into medium-sized segments and the onion into half-rings. Add them to the skillet.
Step 3
To soften the vegetables, add beer to the skillet: it adds flavor and will stop the frying, allowing the vegetables to start simmering.
Step 4
After 5 minutes, add finely chopped chili peppers, cilantro, and parsley to the skillet.
Step 5
Season the beef with salt and pepper, place it on the grill, and cook until medium.
Step 6
Make two lengthwise cuts in the middle of the sandwich bun.
Step 7
Lightly toast the bun on the grill.
Step 8
Melt the raclette in a small skillet and slice the steak.
Step 9
Fill the bun with meat and vegetables, then drizzle with melted raclette cheese.
