- Rosé Dry Wine 0 fl oz
- Brandy 1 teaspoon
- Water 0 fl oz
- Lemon ¼ piece
- Ground Nutmeg a pinch
- Sugar 1 teaspoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thinly slice a quarter of a lemon into rings.
Step 2
In a small saucepan, combine the water, port wine, dry red wine (preferably half Bordeaux and half Burgundy Pinot Noir), and sugar. Stir well, add the lemon, and a pinch of nutmeg.
Step 3
Place the saucepan over medium heat and heat thoroughly without bringing it to a boil.
Step 4
Pour into a heatproof glass and serve hot.
