It's best to choose herring that is not too salty. You don't need too much mayonnaise.
Ingredients
- Beetroot 1 piece
- Carrot 1 piece
- Chicken Egg 2 pieces
- Mayonnaise to taste
- Onion 0,4 pieces
- Potato 1 piece
- Herring 5 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the beetroot, carrots, potatoes, and eggs.
Step 2
Chop the onion fairly finely.
Step 3
Peel the boiled vegetables. Pass the potatoes and eggs through an egg slicer. Grate the beetroot and carrots.
Step 4
Dice the herring into small pieces, removing the bones beforehand.
Step 5
Arrange the herring on a serving plate first, followed by the onion, potato, egg, carrot, and beetroot.
Step 6
Spread with mayonnaise and refrigerate. Enjoy your meal!
