Ingredients
- Water 10 fl oz
- Sugar 0 oz
- Brown Sugar 2 tablespoons
- Cinnamon 3 pieces
- Freshly brewed green tea 5 fl oz
- Milk 5 fl oz
- Whipped Cream to taste
- Ground Cinnamon to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
For the cinnamon syrup, combine water, sugar, and broken cinnamon sticks in a small saucepan, place over medium heat, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat, cover, and let sit for 10 minutes. Remove the cinnamon, return the syrup to heat, add brown sugar, and cook over medium heat until the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat, cool, and transfer to a sealed bottle for use.
Step 2
For the latte, pour 2 tablespoons of syrup into a glass, add freshly brewed coffee, hot milk, and top with milk foam or whipped cream. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon and serve.
