Christmas Punch with Cider, Rum, and Cranberry
Ingredients
- Cider 5 qt
- Concentrated Cranberry Juice 0 qt
- Dark rum 2 cups
- White Pepper (whole) 1 tablespoon
- Cinnamon 4 pieces
- Oranges 2 pieces
- Dried cranberries with sugar 15 oz
- Ground clove 16 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Slice the oranges into rounds without peeling them. Then cut each round in half and insert 1 clove into each half (closer to the peel).
Step 2
In a large pot (7-8 liters), combine the cider and cranberry juice. Add the oranges, cranberries, whole white pepper, and broken cinnamon sticks. Place over medium heat and bring almost to a boil.
Step 3
When the punch is about to boil, remove the pot from heat, add the rum, stir, and serve immediately.
