Christmas Caipirinha Cocktail
Ingredients
- Lime 4 pieces
- Lime Juice 10 fl oz
- Grated Ginger Root 1 piece
- Sugar 0 oz
- Mint Leaves 40 pieces
- Cachaça 10 fl oz
- Crushed ice 25 fl oz
- Ginger Green Wine 40 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the zest from the limes and slice it into long strips, transfer to a bowl and add lime juice, 8 thin strips of ginger, sugar, and 30 mint leaves. Gently muddle the mixture with a pestle and transfer it to a large pitcher. Pour in the cachaça.
Step 2
Add 720 ml of ice and stir. Pour everything with ginger ale. Fill 10 tall glasses with ice and pour the cocktail. Garnish with the remaining mint.
