Chicken Sandwich with Tomatoes and Red Onion
Ingredients
- Chicken fillet 10 oz
- French Baguette 1 piece
- Potato 1 piece
- Spanish onions 1 piece
- Mild Chili Spice 1 piece
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Ketchup 4 tablespoons
- Mustard Greens 4 teaspoons
- Garlic 1 clove
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Malt Vinegar 4 tablespoons
- Sugar to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Season the chicken with salt and pepper, then grill it.
Step 2
Cut the baguette into 4 pieces. Then, butterfly each piece by slicing from the side, but not cutting all the way through.
Step 3
Slice the tomato into rounds. Cut the onion into half-rings. Quickly marinate it by placing it in a bowl, adding a pinch of sugar and salt, pouring in the vinegar, and mixing. Let it sit for 5 minutes. Then remove from the vinegar and squeeze out excess liquid.
Step 4
Once the chicken is cooked, toast the opened baguette on the same grill. Rub a garlic clove on each toasted piece.
Step 5
Chop the parsley and chili.
Step 6
Spread a mixture of ketchup and mustard on the bottom half of the opened baguette. Layer with marinated onion, chicken, and tomatoes. Sprinkle with parsley and chili on top. Close with the top half, press down, and it's ready.
