Chicken Burgers with Feta and Spinach
Ingredients
- Chicken Thighs 15 oz
- Egg white 1 piece
- Spinach 1 bunch
- Hamburger Bun 4 pieces
- Feta cheese 0 oz
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Cut the chicken thighs into pieces and grind them using a meat grinder with a coarse plate. It is recommended to use chilled thighs.
Step 2
Lightly beat the egg. Mash 50 g of feta cheese with a fork. Remove the tough stems from the spinach and slice the leaves into thin strips.
Step 3
In a bowl, mix the ground chicken, egg, spinach, and crumbled feta (I recommend using Serataki), season with pepper and lightly salt. Mix the ground meat well.
Step 4
With wet hands, form 4 round patties. Heat a skillet with olive oil (can be substituted with sunflower oil) and fry them for 6 minutes on each side until cooked through.
Step 5
Slice the buns in half and toast them in a toaster or oven. Place lettuce leaves and the remaining feta on the bottom half, then add the patties, spread mustard on top, and cover with the other half of the bun.
