Cheeseburger with Bacon
Ingredients
- Bacon 8 pieces
- Lean Beef 30 oz
- Salt to taste
- Teriyaki sauce for stir-fry 4 teaspoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice 4 teaspoons
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Cheshire Cheese 5 oz
- Sesame bun 4 pieces
- Iceberg Lettuce to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Fry the bacon pieces in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Place the bacon on a paper towel to absorb excess fat. Do not drain the fat from the skillet; it will be needed later.
Step 2
Form 4 patties from the ground beef, seasoning with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Return the skillet to high heat and sear the patties on one side, then flip and brush with 1 teaspoon of tamari sauce, 1 teaspoon of lemon juice, season with pepper, and flip again. Cook for 2 minutes on each side, then place shredded cheese on each patty, allow it to melt, and remove from heat.
Step 4
Assemble the cheeseburger. Cut the buns in half. On the bottom half, place the cheese-topped patty, then add 2 pieces of bacon and lettuce leaves. Spread barbecue sauce, ketchup, or another dressing of your choice on the top half of the bun. Serve with onion rings or French fries. Enjoy your meal!
