- Ham 1 piece
- Egg white 1 piece
- Milk 0 fl oz
- Breadcrumbs 5 oz
- Salt a pinch
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- White bread 2 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Heat a frying pan on the stove.
Step 2
Combine the egg with the milk and a pinch of salt, whisking with a fork until smooth. While the pan heats up, prepare the toast.
Step 3
Place cheese and ham on one slice of bread, then cover with another slice of bread. Cut the resulting sandwich in half to make two triangles.
Step 4
Pour vegetable oil into the frying pan.
Step 5
Quickly dip the prepared toasts into the egg and milk mixture to avoid the bread becoming soggy, then coat in breadcrumbs.
Step 6
Fry the toasts on both sides in the heated oil.
Step 7
Serve the toasts hot, while they are still warm, and the cheese remains gooey, as kids like.
