
Champagne and Blackcurrant Punch

Description
For making the punch, use glass, porcelain, and non-reactive metal containers. Serve using a small non-reactive ladle or spoon. Serve chilled to at least +15 degrees Celsius.
Ingredients
- Blackcurrant liqueur 5 fl oz
- Blackcurrant liqueur 5 fl oz
- Dry Champagne 15 fl oz
- Blackcurrant liqueur 1 cup
- Sugar 5 oz
- Oranges 2 pieces
- Dry White Wine 15 fl oz
- Ice 15 oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the blackcurrants at the bottom of the punch bowl, sprinkle with sugar, pour in the liqueur (for example, Marie Brizard Creme de Cassis), and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 2
Pour the chilled wine, champagne, and blackcurrant juice into the punch bowl with the blackcurrants. Stir well to ensure the sugar is completely dissolved.
Step 3
Add the orange segments, peeled of membranes, and ice to the punch.
Step 4
Serve in large glass cups or bowls with saucers in front of guests. Provide a straw and a spoon for the berries.
