Ceylon Curry
Ingredients
- Onion 2 heads
- Garlic 2 cloves
- Ginger 0 oz
- Red Curry Powder 3 tablespoons
- Cotton Oil 5 tablespoons
- Poultry 20 oz
- Fresh Mushrooms 5 oz
- Red Long Chili Peppers to taste
- Black Cumin (Cumin) to taste
- Salt to taste
- Celery salt 1 piece
- Coconut Urbech 0 oz
- Tomatoes 2 pieces
- Green Butter 5 oz
- Herbs 1 bunch
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Chop 1 onion with ginger and garlic in a blender.
Step 2
Heat corn oil in a deep skillet. Add the onion mixture. Add 2 tablespoons of water. Sprinkle with curry powder. Simmer for 2 minutes.
Step 3
Cut the chicken into small cubes. Add to the onion mixture. Sprinkle with flour and simmer for 20 minutes. Add salt.
Step 4
Slice the onion into rings.
Step 5
Slice the mushrooms and sauté with onion, red pepper, cumin, and celery. Add salt.
Step 6
Combine the mushroom mixture with the meat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Grate the coconut on a fine grater and add to the curry.
Step 8
Dice the tomatoes and mix with the curry.
Step 9
Serve the curry on lettuce leaves and sprinkle with chopped herbs.
