Ingredients
- Carrot 20 oz
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
- Honey 2 tablespoons
- Light Raisins, Seedless 5 oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice 0 fl oz
- Orange Blossom Water 0 fl oz
- Ground Cinnamon 0.5 teaspoon
- Grated Ginger Root 0.75 teaspoon
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Chopped Sage Leaves to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the carrots and grate them on a coarse grater. Transfer to a bowl.
Step 2
Add raisins, olive oil, honey, lemon juice, orange blossom water, ginger, and cinnamon to the carrots. Season with a little salt and pepper. Mix well.
Step 3
Refrigerate for a few hours or overnight. Before serving, sprinkle with chopped mint.
