
Carrot and Ham Salad

It's best to combine the ingredients and dress the salad just before serving.
Ingredients
- Carrot 0 lbs
- Onion 2 pieces
- Ham 10 oz
- Mayonnaise to taste
- Salt to taste
- Sugar 3 tablespoons
- Table vinegar 0 fl oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Peel the carrots and grate them using a coarse grater or a food processor.
Step 2
Pour a little vegetable oil into a skillet and add the carrots. Cook, stirring, over high heat for 5 minutes, then cover with a lid, reduce the heat to medium-low, and cook the carrots until fully tender. Leave to cool.
Step 3
Finely chop the onion and pour hot marinade over it. Once the marinade cools, the onion is ready.
Step 4
For the marinade, pour 250 ml of water into a pot, add 3 tablespoons of sugar and 0.5 tablespoons of salt. Bring to a boil. Add 50 ml of 9% vinegar.
Step 5
Cut the ham into strips.
Step 6
Dress with mayonnaise. Add salt and pepper.
