California Salad with Grapefruits

You can use any aromatic alcohol or omit it altogether. A slightly lightened recipe.
Ingredients
- Grapefruits 4 pieces
- Avocado 3 pieces
- Cognac 4 tablespoons
- Natural Yogurt 6 tablespoons
- Cayenne Pepper a pinch
- Salt to taste
- King Prawns 20 oz
- Lemon 1 piece
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Place the shrimp in boiling salted water for 4 minutes. Drain in a colander, let cool, then remove the heads and peel off the shells and intestinal vein.
Step 2
Peel the grapefruits and use a small sharp knife to cut the flesh from the inner membranes.
Step 3
Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit. Carefully peel off the skin. Slice the flesh into thin pieces and drizzle with lemon juice.
Step 4
Combine the pieces of grapefruit and avocado in a bowl, add the shrimp and pour in the cognac. Mix and let sit for 10 minutes. Mix the yogurt with salt and cayenne pepper. Dress the salad and transfer to a serving bowl.
