Caesar Salad with Tofu
Ingredients
- Garlic 8 cloves
- Anchovy fillet 2 pieces
- Olives stuffed with lemon 2 pieces
- Dijon Mustard 2 tablespoons
- Tofu 15 oz
- Lemon 2 pieces
- Olive Oil 1 cup
- Romaine lettuce 4 heads
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- White bread to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Lightly sauté the garlic in olive oil.
Step 2
Chop the sautéed garlic, anchovies, olives, and mustard in a food processor. Add the juice of two lemons and tofu.
Step 3
While stirring, gradually drizzle in the olive oil into the puree. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Step 4
Arrange the lettuce leaves on a flat plate. Drizzle with the prepared mixture. Sprinkle with toasted bread cubes.
