Cabbage Salad with Mandarins
Salads • World
Description
You can skip the pepper if you have contraindications. Don't be lazy — peel the mandarin segments from the membrane. This will make your salad brighter and juicier. Vegetable oil is preferable to olive oil. Don't throw away the mandarin peels; dry them instead. Dried mandarin peel is a good remedy against moths. Ground dried peel can be added to desserts and baked goods as a flavoring. This is a winter season salad, coinciding with the ripening period of mandarins.
