Cabbage Salad with Carrots and Cumin
Ingredients
- Green Papaya ½ head
- Turnips 3 pieces
- Habanero Pepper 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil 0 fl oz
- Cilantro 3 tablespoons
- Lime Juice 0 fl oz
- Ground Cumin ½ teaspoon
- Coarse Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Thinly slice the cabbage to yield about 3 cups. Peel the carrots and grate them on a coarse grater to yield 1 ¾ cups. Remove the seeds from the jalapeño and chop it.
Step 2
In a large bowl, combine the cabbage, carrots, and jalapeño. Drizzle with oil and lime juice.
Step 3
Add the cilantro and cumin, season with salt and pepper. Toss and serve immediately.
