Description
A cold, cheerful drink: coffee with orange juice, layered in stripes. Hence the comparison to a bumblebee. It’s best to stir the drink before consuming. This recipe is from a popular coffee shop.
Ingredients
- Ice 6 pieces
- Maple syrup 0 fl oz
- Orange juice concentrate 5 fl oz
- Espresso 5 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Fill a tall glass with ice. The ice should be kept in the freezer for at least a day.
Step 2
Pour caramel syrup over the ice, which can be easily made at home or purchased from a store; maple syrup is also a good option. The syrup will sink to the bottom, creating the first layer.
Step 3
Then pour in the freshly squeezed orange juice; the juice will not mix with the syrup, creating a second layer.
Step 4
Pour the coffee on top, trying to gently pour it over the ice cube — the third layer.
Step 5
You can serve it with a straw and a lemonade spoon. Stir before consuming.
