Ingredients

  • Ciabatta 5 pieces
  • Tomatoes 5 pieces
  • Cilantro 2 tablespoons
  • Ground Black Pepper a pinch
  • Salt a pinch
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Balsamic Vinegar 0 fl oz

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Toast the bread in a dry skillet or in the oven until golden brown (3–5 minutes at 390°F).

Step 2

Peel the tomatoes, chop them into small cubes, finely chop the garlic, and mix together.

Step 3

Heat a skillet, add a splash of olive oil, and pour in the tomato mixture, cooking for about 2–3 minutes. Add a little balsamic vinegar and stir. Cook for another 3 minutes.

Step 4

Drizzle the toasted bread with olive oil. Top with the tomato mixture, season with salt and pepper to taste, and sprinkle with finely chopped cilantro. Serve as an appetizer, preferably warm.
