  • Peeled Cooked Shrimp 15 oz
  • Tomatoes 2 pieces
  • Ketchup 2 spoons
  • Brown Sugar 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Chopped Sage Leaves 1 tablespoon
  • Olive Oil 2 spoons
  • Rice Vinegar for Sushi 1½ spoons
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste
  • French Baguette 16 pieces

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Leave 16 whole shrimp aside, and finely chop the remaining shrimp, transferring them to a bowl. Add 1 cup of finely chopped tomatoes, ketchup, brown sugar, minced garlic, and parsley. Drizzle with olive oil and vinegar, then season with salt and pepper. Mix well, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for a while.

Step 2

Lightly toast the pieces of bread drizzled with olive oil on the grill or barbecue, turning them on both sides until they are golden brown.

Step 3

On a platter, arrange the toasted bread, placing 1 tablespoon of the shrimp mixture on each slice, and garnish with whole shrimp, fresh herbs, cucumber slices, or avocado, according to your taste.
