  • Olive Oil 6 tablespoons
  • French Baguette 1 piece
  • Basil 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped Sage Leaves 2 tablespoons
  • Lemon ½ piece
  • Arugula 0 oz
  • Prosciutto 6 slices
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Tomatoes 3 pieces
  • Tomato Puree 1 teaspoon
  • TABASCO® to taste
  • Balsamic Vinegar 1 tablespoon
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

To prepare the sauce, heat a tablespoon of olive oil in a pan and sauté the finely chopped garlic for about a minute. Transfer to a blender, add another tablespoon of oil, chopped tomatoes, tomato puree, balsamic vinegar, and TABASCO. Blend, then add salt and pepper to taste.

Step 2

Preheat a grill pan. Drizzle the bread with olive oil and place it on the pan. Grill for 1–2 minutes on each side.

Step 3

Transfer the mixture from the blender to another container, add olive oil, mix well, sprinkle with pepper, and spread a thin layer over the prosciutto. Top the toasted bread with the arugula leaves, then place the seasoned prosciutto on top. Arrange on serving plates and serve.
