Under no circumstances should you substitute parsley with dill!
Ingredients
- Octopus 5 lbs
- Onion 2 heads
- Garlic 1 head
- Lemon 2 pieces
- Parsley 1 bunch
- Ground Black Pepper a pinch
- Salt a pinch
- Olive Oil 0 fl oz
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the octopus (the larger the octopus, the longer the cooking process. In this recipe, the octopus weighs 2 kg, cooking time is 2.5 hours).
Step 2
Remove the beak and eyes.
Step 3
Finely chop the onions and marinate them in lemon juice for 15 minutes.
Step 4
Cool the octopus and cut it into pieces.
Step 5
Add the onions, finely chopped garlic, parsley, season with salt and pepper, and mix well.
Step 6
Drizzle with olive oil.
Step 7
Refrigerate for 2 hours.
