Beef Heart Salad with Prunes
Ingredients
- Beef hoof 10 oz
- Prunes 5 oz
- Pistachios 0 oz
- Spanish onions 2 pieces
- Salt to taste
- Mayonnaise to taste
- Vegetable Oil 1 tablespoon
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash the heart, remove the membranes, and boil for 2 hours. Cut the cooled heart into strips.
Step 2
Toast the pine nuts in a dry skillet until fragrant.
Step 3
Slice the onion into half rings and sauté in vegetable oil until soft (in the same skillet used for toasting the pine nuts).
Step 4
Rinse the prunes and cut them into strips while the onion is frying.
Step 5
Combine all ingredients, season with salt to taste, and dress with mayonnaise.
