Bean Salad with Tuna
Ingredients
- Savory 1 stem
- Chinese green beans 10 oz
- Onion 1 head
- Canned Baby Beets 1 can
- Orange Bell Peppers 1 piece
- Canned tuna in its own juice 5 oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves 2 tablespoons
- Salt to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Savory 1 tablespoon
- Red Wine Vinegar 2 tablespoons
- Olive Oil 6 tablespoons
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Sort and wash the green beans. Boil them with the stem of savory in salted boiling water for 15–20 minutes. Rinse with cold water.
Step 2
Drain the liquid from the white beans, rinse them with cold water, and let them drain. Chop the onion. Cut the bell pepper in half, remove the seeds, and dice it. Use a fork to flake the tuna. Mix everything with the green beans.
Step 3
Combine the vinegar, salt, ground pepper, and oil. Drizzle this dressing over the salad and let it sit covered for 30 minutes.
