Bean Salad with Ham and Croutons

Ingredients

  • Canned Corn 1 can
  • Canned Baby Beets 1 can
  • Potato 1 piece
  • Garlic 2 cloves
  • Ham 5 oz
  • White bread 3 pieces
  • Mayonnaise to taste
  • Salt to taste
  • Ground Black Pepper to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Drain the liquid from the beans. You can use boiled beans, but it's easier to take them from a can.

Step 2

Cut the ham or sausage into strips. Dice the tomato.

Step 3

Mix everything in a bowl, add finely chopped garlic.

Step 4

Drain the liquid from the corn, add it to the ingredients. Season with salt and pepper, dress with mayonnaise, and mix.

Step 5

Cut the bread into cubes and toast in a pan with or without oil, if desired.

Step 6

Transfer the salad to a serving bowl, top with croutons. Mix before serving.
