Basil Lemonade
Ingredients
- Sugar 5 oz
- Fresh basil leaves 5 oz
- "Citro Lemonade" 0 qt
- Fresh basil leaves 8 pieces
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
In a saucepan over medium heat, bring sugar and 350 ml of cold water to a boil. Cook without stirring until the sugar dissolves and the mixture thickens slightly, about 5 minutes. Remove from heat and add the basil leaves. Stir and let cool to room temperature. Strain the syrup.
Step 2
In 8 tall glasses filled with ice, add 2-3 tablespoons of syrup and fill to the top with lemonade. Garnish with basil sprigs and serve.
