
Avocado, Arugula, and Anchovy Salad

Description
This salad doesn't require salt, as the anchovies are salty enough. No oil is needed either, since there's plenty in the anchovies. Salty, slightly dry anchovies paired with the mild, buttery avocado and peppery arugula — quick, simple, filling, and healthy!
Ingredients
- Avocado 1 piece
- Arugula 2 bunches
- Salted anchovies in oil 0 oz
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Wash, dry, and arrange the arugula leaves on a shallow plate.
Step 2
Wash and peel the avocado. Cut it into random pieces, but not too small. I cut it in half, then slice each half crosswise into pieces about 1 cm thick — it's easy to arrange on the plate later.
Step 3
Top with the anchovy fillets, draining the oil. Sprinkle with a little ground black pepper.
