- Sugar 10 oz
- Apple 20 oz
- Water 5 qt

Step 1
Peel the apples, cut them into wedges, and place them in a jar (they should fill 1/3 of the jar's volume).
Step 2
Pour boiling water into the jar with the apples, up to the rim of the jar, wait for 1 minute, then pour this water into a pot, add 300 grams of sugar, and bring to a boil.
Step 3
Pour the syrup back in and seal the jar.
