Alsatian Salad
Ingredients
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts 15 oz
- Onion 1 piece
- Green Apples 2 pieces
- Pickled Cauliflower 2 pieces
- Iceberg Lettuce ½ head
- Apple Cider Vinegar 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil 2 tablespoons
- Honey 1 teaspoon
- Dijon Mustard 1 tablespoon
- Herbs 1 bunch
- Salt to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Boil the chicken breast until cooked, about 30 minutes. Let it cool and shred into pieces.
Step 2
Finely chop the lettuce. Peel and slice the onion into thin half-rings. Wash the cucumbers and apples, then cut them into small cubes.
Step 3
For the dressing: Whisk together the oil, vinegar, mustard, honey, salt, pepper, and herbs.
Step 4
Mix the chicken, iceberg lettuce, apples, onion, and cucumbers. Drizzle with the dressing.
Step 5
If you prefer not to make the dressing, you can substitute it with Calve creamy garlic sauce. The taste will be different, but the salad will still be delicious.
