  • Almonds 5 oz
  • Water 30 fl oz
  • Sugar to taste

Step-by-Step Guide

Step 1

Remove the soaked almonds (drain the water) and place them in a blender. Add 960 ml of fresh water. Turn on the blender for 1–2 minutes to grind the almonds.

Step 2

Strain the almonds from the resulting milk (optional). Pour the almond milk into a large bowl through special bags or cheesecloth. Squeeze the bag so that all the milk inside drains into the bowl. The almond pulp can remain in the bag.

Step 3

If desired, sugar can be added to the milk. Pour the milk into a container and place it in the coldest part of the refrigerator. The milk can be stored for 2–3 days.
