Amber Trout with Onions
Ingredients
- Trout 1 piece
- Onion 1 piece
- Lemon 1 piece
- Salt to taste
- Thyme to taste
- Ground Black Pepper to taste
- Apple Wine to taste
Step-by-Step Guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion.
Step 2
Pour the wine over the onion and squeeze the lemon juice.
Step 3
Knead the mixture with your hands to release the juice from the onion and mix it with the other liquid.
Step 4
Make shallow cuts on the fish with a sharp knife, season with salt and pepper on both sides, and lightly sprinkle with thyme. Place the trout on a double layer of foil (make sure there is enough foil) and create edges.
Step 5
Top with the onion and drizzle with the marinade.
Step 6
Place in an oven preheated to 375°F.
Step 7
Serve hot with white wine.
